Where did it all begin?
All things have a beginning and for F.W. Hercus Pty. Ltd. it came one Monday morning in May 1920, when Frederick William Hercus rented a small building in St. Peters, put a sign over the door and went into business on his own. It takes a bold move by an individual to commence in business but it takes the drive and energy of many employees to make a company great and be recognised by so many for 100 years.
Along the way, many challenges have been met that include a depression, a world war, a change of ownership, a change of government attitudes and for 2020, Coronavirus.
Today with the latest technologies at it's disposal Hercus now is a leader in supporting Mining, Steel production and other key support industries with a Design and General Engineering Service and a comprehensive Transmission and Equipment range.
Touch the years to relive a 100+ year history on how Hercus evolved, and where to for Hercus in the future.
