Conveyor Gearbox

Hercus were responsible for the manufacture of a gearbox for a customer in the mineral processing industry. This gearbox was installed on a jetty and used to drive a conveyor that loads ships.

Internal oil lines.

Oil lines were manufactured and installed off of drawings supplied to us by our customer.

Gears and bearing caps installed.

Gear train is installed and backlash has been checked at this point to ensure correct operation of the gearbox.

Mating the top half of the gearbox.

Top half mated to gearbox.

Sealant has been applied to both halves on the housing and bearing caps will be done up.

Completed gearbox ready for dispatch.
