Triplex Mud Pump

In late 2021 / early 2022, Hercus were involved in the strip, assessment and refurbishment of an 18 tonne Triplex Mud Pump for a customer in the oil and gas industry.

External oil lines before.

External oil lines were in working order however all lines showed signs of deterioration after been exposed to the elements for so long.

External oil lines after.

New external oil lines were fitted as well as an external oil filter which wasn't present when we received the pump.

Internal oil line before.

Internal oil lines were in working order but were all showing signs of deterioration.

Internal oil line after.

Old crosshead bearings.

Showed signs of corrosion from possible water ingress.

New crosshead bearings installed.
