Torque Limiter Coupling
The Hercus Torque Limiter Coupling ia an adjustable friction drive combined with a chain coupling when set prevents over loading. When the preset load is reached the limiter will slip dis-engaging the drive, the moment the load falls below the preset, the limiter will re-engage and will resume driving.
The coupling consists of a torque limiter fitted with a plate sprocket and a mating hub sprocket, hollowed out to clear the body of the torque limiter. The two sprockets are connected by a duplex chain to provide the drive
